We used a multi-tiered approach to market this event. We included Social Media (FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, and SnapChat), posted the event on GVSU's website, went chalking around campus, handed out pluggers in the Freshman area of Grand Valley, put up posters, and also put two banners up in Kirkhof. We were also able to send an email out to those students' that had not declared their major yet. From asking attendees how they heard about the event, we found that the majority of them had decided to come after recieving this email.
These students were busy posting on Social Media about coming to our event! Social Media was a key way that we got people to come to the event.
